Abstract

The specimens of the fibers particles study were aimed to find out the metal elements contained by x-ray testing (SNI 18-6478: 2000) with X-RAY spectrometer method, tear test (ISO 34-1: 2015) to determine the strength of specimens, And tensile testing (SNI ISO 37: 2015 IDT-2011) to determine the resilience and toughness of the specimen against the specimen of the fibrous fiber mesh particles 100 using a rubber matrix with variations of 5 phr, 15 phr, 25 phr. The initial process of preparing specimens by preparing materials such as: fibers fibers, concentrated latex with a content of 60% dry rubber, Zno, ZDEC, Ionol, sulfur and soot (langes). Fibers is used as filler. The fibers particles were washed, the drying then continued with pressing, pounding, blending and filtering using mesh 100 to become powder fiber. The chemical dispersion process is carried out for 24 hours. Continue the process of weighing the material and then mixing the material using a measuring cup in a stir using a spoon for 10 minutes and then poured into the mold. The process of vulcanization is carried out for 90 minutes with a temperature of 90°C. The test results concluded that the highest element value in Zn amounted to 3.199%, Fe 0.617% and Ti 0.415% in the composition of 5 phr fibers. While the lowest element Zn 1.816 on the composition of fibers 15 phr, Fe 0.323 and Ti 0.259 on the composition of 25 phr fibers. The highest tensile strength of the 25 phr fibers composition was 3.59 N/mm2, while the lowest value on the 5 phr fibers composition was 1.35 N/mm2. The highest tear strength on the 25 phr fibers composition was 8.05 N/mm, while the lowest value on the 5 phr fibers composition was 4.67 N/mm. The composition of the largest fibers is able to produce tensile strength and tear is higher than the composition of a small palm.
