Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF IMPERATIVE SPEECH ACTS IN SLOGAN AND POSTER ON INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING IN SMP. Final Project. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta This research has two aims. (1) Describe imperative speech acts contained in slogans and posters in junior high school, (2) Describe the real implementation of imperative speech acts in slogans and posters in language learning in junior high. The data used in the form of slogans, posters, RPP Indonesian language teachers, and interviews to teachers and students. This study is qualitative descriptive. Data analysis techniques use observation or observation, documentation, and interviews. The result of this research are (1) imperative speech acts contained in slogan and poster in SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta namely regular imperative sentence, request imperative sentence, imperative invitation sentence, imperative sentence, and imperative sentence prohibition. (2) RPP analysis and learning can be concluded that learning to write slogan / poster requires creativity and understanding of the contents of slogan and poster itself, students must know the characteristics and types of slogans and posters, so the selection of words used persuasive and interesting.
