Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country with man y inhabitants as farmers or gardeners. But the amount of land for farming that is too far from the power source can hamper the process of irrigation of existing plants. The purpose of this research is to facilitate the process of plantation irrigation by u sing a system that will work automatically in all its parts. This system will use solar cells as a generator to fill the accumulator, then will use the water pump dc to be placed at the nearest water source, which will then be accommodated at the reservoir that has been fitted with water level sensor so that when the water runs out then the dc water pump will be automatically turned on for Fill the water tank, so even if the water full feed dc water pump will automatically stop. Then this system also uses t he soil moisture sensor to do water watering automatically when the moisture on the ground has begun to decrease. In this automatic plant irrigation system also uses arduino software to control the running of sensors. In the experiment that has been done t he charge controller will stop automatically to drain the voltage to the accumulator if the accumulator already has a voltage of 13.4 V and will start to drain the voltage back if the accumulator has a voltage of 11.6 V. The water sensor will give the comm and to turn on the pump and charge Water back if the water level has decreased to 6 cm, then will stop megisi water if the height is 18 cm. The humidity sensor will give an order to water the plants if the humidity is already on 1010 adc and will stop flus hing if the humidity is already 820 adc.
