Abstract

The composite study of the fibers particles was aimed to find out the metal content of specimens by X-ray Fluorescence X-ray Fluorescence test to the composite particles of mesh fiber 100 using rubber matrix with variation of 8 phr, 13 phr, 18 phr. The initial process of making composites by preparing materials such as: fibers fibers, liquid latex with levels of 60% dry rubber, Zno, ZDEC, Ionol, Sulfur, Carbon Black. Ijuk is used as filler. Fiber fibers done washing, drying then continued with pressing, beaten, blender and filtered using mesh 100 to become fiber powder. The chemical dispersion process is carried out for 24 hours. Mixing the composite material with a glass, stirring for 10 minutes then pouring in the mold. Vulcanization uses an oven that is dipanskan at 1000 for 1 hour. The test results concluded that the lowest composite metal element value is in the element of ferrous metal (Fe) specimen of the fibers of the fibers which the composition of ijuknya 13 phr with a value of 0.292%. While the highest value of metallic composite element that is on element of zinc metal (Zn), composition 25 phr, with value equal to 3,192%. Rubber composites with large fibers composition may not necessarily contain more metal elements. Keywords: X-rays, Ijuk Particles, Mesh 100, Latex, Vulcanization
