Abstract

The Deposit Insurance Corporation carry out the function of providing legal protection of client's depository deposits. In providing this legal protection, the Deposit Insurance Corporation just give maximum limit guaranteed deposits against Rp 2 billion. But there are some clients that have storage deposits above Rp 2 billion, then the savings problem emerging participated or not guaranteed by the Deposit Insurance Corporation. Formulation of the problem in this study discusses related issues form a guarantee given by an institution Guaranteeing Deposits to its customers ' storage and legal protection of client's top storage simpanannya that are not guaranteed by the Deposit Insurance Corporation. The method of this research is the empirical research and qualitative methods of analysis. The location of this research lies in the Deposit Insurance Corporation, Jakarta. The results of this study discusses the legal protection given to the Deposit Insurance Corporation repository good clients that have deposits below the Rp 2 billion or above Rp. 2 billion.
