Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: 1) The influence of efforts to increase interest in high school students SMAN 1 Wiradesa with the role of parents, 2) The influence of efforts to increase student learning interest SMA Negeri 1 Wiradesa with exemplary teachers, 3) The influence of efforts to increase student interest in SMA Negeri 1 Wiradesa with the role of parents and exemplary teachers. This type of research includes a quantitative descriptive study whose conclusions are obtained based on the results of statistical analysis. Population in this research is 2 student of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 who are 134 in number with sample counted 95 students taken by technique proportional random sampling by random. Required data obtained through documentation and questionnaires that have been previously tested with validity and reliabiliatas test. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression test t test, F test, R2 test, and relative and effective donation. The result of research uses regression analysis obtained by regression equation: Y = 11,703 + 0,322X1 + 0,210X2. The equation shows that interest in learning is influenced by the role of parents and the examplary teacher. The conclusions taken are: 1) The role of parents affect the learning interest is acceptable. It is based on multiple linear aggression (t test) known that thitung>ttable, that is 4,853 > 1,986 and significance value <0,05ie 0,000 with effective contribution 25,5%. 2) The teacher's exemplary influence on the learning interest is acceptable. This is based on double linear aggression (t test) known that thitung>ttable is 3,830> 1,986 and significance value 0,005 that is 0.000 with effective contribution 18,3%. 3) The role of parents and exemplary teachers of learning interest can be accepted. This is based on analysis of multiple linear regression variance (F test) known that Fcount>Ftable, that is 35,627> 3,095 and significance value <0,005 that is 0.000. 4) The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.436 indicates that the magnitude of the influence of parent role and the example of the teacher to the learning interest is 43.8% while the remaining 56.2% is influenced by other variables that are not studied by the researcher.
