Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the guidance of correctional students conducted by Special Children’s Development Institute (LPKA) Class 1 Kutoarjo in fulfilling the right of protégé students. And to know what are the constraints during the process of fulfilling the right of correctional students in Special Children’s Development (LPKA) Class 1 Kutoarjo. The method of this study is empirical juridical, with the type of the study using descriptive research, where in this research will be described how to guidance is in Special Children’s Development (LPKA Class) 1 Kutoarjo in fulfilling the right of correctional students, assessed according to Law No. 11 of 2012 on Juvenile Justice. The data source of this study using literature research and interview methods, and the rule of law to search the secondary data so it can be associated with the primary data obtained from the real conditions. The data analysis in this study used qualitative analysis. The results of this study showed that, the fulfillment of rights to correctional student Law No. 11 of 2012 on Juvenile Justice. In the fact, right of correctional students can’t be fulfilled maximally. While the obstacles encountered are caused by factors; budgets, facilities and infrastructure, human resources, prison students themselves, and the community.
