Abstract
This research aims to know the rules regarding handling efforts correctional protégé who escaped from LPKA, analyzing the efforts of correctional protégé handling who escaped from LPKA class 1 Kutoarjo, and knowing the constraints faced in the process of handling. The study uses empirical methods of juridical approach-which is done with the digging data from legislation and research in LPKA class 1 Kutoarjo. This type of research is descriptive research types. From the results of research show that the efforts of handling student who escaped from the LPKA class 1 Kutoarjo are in law No. 12 Year 1995 about Prisons, regulations of the Minister of Justice and human rights no. 6 Year 2013 about Conduct correctional facility and home of the State's Prisoners, the Ordinance of the Minister of Justice and human rights no. M. 01-PR. 07.03 Year 1985 on the Organization and the work of correctional facility, a decision of the Minister of Justice The decision of the Minister of Justice Number M.02-04.10 Year 1990 about Patterns of coaching Inmates/Detainees, and guidelines for the treatment of children in LPKA. In addition, there are other efforts undertaken by the LPKA class 1 Kutoarjo, based on orders from the head of the LPKA which consists of preventive and repressive efforts. Constraints faced in handling correctional protégé who escaped from the LPKA class 1 Kutoarjo are 2 factors, namely the internal factors and external factors.
