Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the forest park in Indonesia is TAHURA K.G.P.A.A Mangkunagoro I Ngargoyoso. Taman Hutan Raya (TAHURA) is a kinds of forest which has high biological diversity. Medicinal plants is plants that use primarily for the purposes of traditional medicines. The purpose of this study is to know the types of medicinal plants at an altitude of 1,000 m.dpl and 1,200 m.dpl contained in TAHURA. This research uses exploration method. The results of the study of medicinal plants at an altitude of 1000 m.dpl obtained two species consisting of Cinchona pubescens Vahl and Plantago major L. At an altitude of 1200 m.dpl obtained 8 species of medicinal plants consisting of: Lantana camara L., Cinnamomum verum J. Presl, Schima Wallichii, Centella asiatica L, Cinchona pubescens Vahl, Plantago major L, Ficus padana, and Paederia foetida. There are 2 species (Cinchona pubescens Vahl, and Paederia foetida) which have the same familia that is Rubiaceae in TAHURA. Keyword : Inventaritation, Medicinal Plants, Eksploration, and TAHURA.
