Abstract

Pedagogic competence is the most important things that a teacher must master when learning. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a connection of technological Pedagogical content knowledge, pedagogy, and content that is mastered by the teacher. In teaching-learning process teacher is important factor to determine the success of learners. The purpose of this research is to know the ability of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) by Biology Teacher’s X class to prepare RPP academic year 2016/2017 in SMA Muhammadiyah especially in Surakarta City. This type of research is descriptive research using documentation by taking three RPP on purposive sampling every one teacher from total three teachers of Biology class X SMA Muhammadiyah in Surakarta City. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that TPACK ability of Biology teacher get the percentage of 31,44%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the TPACK by Biology teacher’s X class in SMA Muhammadiyah especially in Surakarta City is entering the criterion is not good
