Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is the influence of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Equity (ROE), and Return On Assets (ROA) to Return Sharia Shares Registered Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and which variables that have dominant influence on Sharia stock returns. By using the secondary data (time series and cross section) monthly from period 2013 to 2015. Data analysis tool using panel data that is combination of cross data (Cross section) and (time series). With the approach of the Common Efect (Pooled Least Square / PLS) Method, Fixed Effects (FEM), Random Effects (REM) and equipped with chow test and hausman test, processed using Quantitative Micro Software E-Views version 8.0.0.1. From the result of Pooled Least Square (PLS) method, this research revealed that DER, ROE and ROA variables that meet the test value standard and NPM and CR variables do not meet the standard. This research shows simultaneously that there is influence of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Equity (ROE), and Return On Asset (ROA) to Return of Sharia Shares Registered in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Partially, there are three profitability variables which have significant effect on return of syariah stock listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), that is Return On Equity (ROE), Return On Asset (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER).
