Abstract

Fruit juice is a soft drink made from fruit and water that is good for health. Therefore it is very important to keep the quality of juice for sold. This study was conducted to determine the feasibility of the consumption of mango and avocado juice The research method used is the non experimental method. Fruit juice samples were diluted to 10-7 dilutions then inoculated on a pour plate and incubated 24 hours at 370C. The number of bacterial colonies was calculated and compared with the standard BPOM about the maximum limit of bacterial contamination that is 1X105 colony / g. The conclution of the reseach showed the number of bacterial colonies in all samples >1X105 colony / g so that all samples declared unfeasible consumption.
