Abstract
This study aims to analyze the legal awareness of brand registration for home industry entrepreneurs, to describe the factors that affect the legal awareness of the brand for home industry entrepreneurs, and to provide solutions to increase legal awareness for home industry entrepreneurs. This research includes the type of descriptive research that provides a description of the object of research based on concrete facts. Sources of data obtained from primary and secondary law materials namely bibliography, observation and interviews with analytical methods using qualitative analysis. The results showed that the legal awareness of the home industry entrepreneurs is low, where all the home industry entrepreneurs in Gadingan, Mojolaban of Sukoharjo have not registered their brand yet, there is no interest of entrepreneurs to seek knowledge of brand registration, and the notion that it’s not yet important to register this brand. Then the factors affecting brand registration for home industry entrepreneurs are due to a lack of knowledge about brand registrations, the assumption that brands do not need to be registered, expensive brand registration fees, and low government roles.
