Abstract

The transmission system is the most important part of the electricity delivery process, the transmission system must be designed with consideration of various aspects. distance protection as the main protection of the transmission system SUTT 150KV and SUTT 500kv. Distance protection works by measuring voltage and current then measure impedance value. Protection of distance protection is divided into several protection areas into zones 1, zone 2, and zone 3. setting the distance release is very important, with inappropriate settings can cause the release fails to function. Calculation of KLATEN-PEDAN impedance setting value using different conductor cable gets different impedance setting value. Based on the working principle of releasing and adjustment of the settings that have been applied in the field, the method used in the transmission distance transmission channel analysis 150 KV KLATEN-PEDAN is to find the data source parameters, transformer parameters, and conductor cable.Using the ACSR conveying cable HAWK value of the impedance setting that is in the zone 1 = 3.14 + j 18.52 Ω, zone 2 = 10.21 + 18.52 Ω, zone 3 = 23.97 + j 43.46 Ω, using the ZEBRA ACSR delivery cable value of the obtained impedance value of the zone 1 = 0.38 + j 2.76 Ω, zone 2 = 1.24 + j 9.60 Ω, zone 3 = 2.91 + 21.13 Ω. Different impedance setting values for each use of the conductor cable require different distance sharing settings.
