Abstract
This study aims to describe the role of village head in asset management of Gagaksipat village, Ngemplak sub-district, Boyolali regency. Sources of data in this study are classified into 3 types, namely informants (informants), places (events), and documents. Observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use interactive model data analysis. Interactive model data analysis techniques are used to compare observations, interviews, and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation of data collection sources and triangulation of data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of village head in village asset management has been done by the village head, village secretary, and village apparatus, among. The village head determines the policy of village asset management ie the procedure established by the village head, In the data name, address and work. The village head assigns the assistant manager and the village asset manager that is the village head assisted by the village secretary and village apparatus. The village head determines the use, utilization and alienation of the village asset, ie the use is determined once every year at the end of August while the utilization is for the lease of the community whereas for the alienation of the village's assets does not yet exist. The village head determines the policy of securing the village's assets one by means of a data book of village inventory containing the type of goods or building, including: sofa chair, fan, monograph board, and so forth. Village heads propose proposed procurement, transfer and elimination of village assets through strategic deliberation of village asset procurement implemented on a transparent and open basis while village asset delineation and removal is not yet available. The village head approved the proposal for the alienation and removal of village assets. The village head approves the proposed use of village assets as long as the village assets are not used directly to support the administration of the village administration and the use of village assets can be rent.
