National hero figures to be one of difficult memorized knowledge because of the name and time of the hero moment is so many and diverse, for today the introduction of the hero still use the print media and monotonous so it is less fun to learn. Therefore, this study aims to help introduce children to a national hero in the era of the old struggle in a way that is easy and fun for children especially students, that is with education game media can be used on desktop and mobile devices. These games are shown in the form of a 2D visual created using the game engine Construct 2 using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with the waterfall model. In this game has several main menu include game menu, introduction of the hero menu, and the how to play menu. Thus, in the game in addition to having properties that are also educating the entertaining nature. With this educative game application, besides being easy to use in children's learning process, it can also affect the quality of children's learning about the introduction of hero character, as evidenced by the significant increase of value between learning using conventional media with this application media
