Abstract

Learning is the process and effort undertaken by teacher to deliver knowledge to students through the process of organizing the materials, the students, and the environments that generally occur in the classroom. Good and successful moral learning will be seen with changes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects according to the expected learning objectives. Success in learning is influenced by various factors, internal and external factors. These factors include: learning objectives, teachers, learners, materials, learning strategies, facilities and infrastructure as well as evaluation of learning. The focus of this research is learning morals between students of special programs and regular students in SMP Muhammadiyah 8 surakarta year 2016/2017. The main problem in this research is about the moral educations between students of special programs and regular students in SMP Muhammadiyah 8 surakarta in the year of 2016/2017. The purpose of the study is to describe the moral education between students of special programs and regular students in SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta in the year of 2016/2017. This is a field research with qualitative description approach. While the data of this research is obtained by observation, interview and documentation which then analyzed. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that (1) the purpose of learning moral subjects on special and regular programs have the same base which is the standard of competence, basic competence and indicator which is written on the syllabus. (2) Teacher of moral subject between special and regular programs has different qualifications. Academically, the moral subject teacher of special program is the D3 graduation from pesantren while the moral subject teacher of regular program is a bachelor of biology subject. (3) Student input on special and regular programs are different. The class capacity for special program is limited and it only accepts female student. (4) Moral learning materials on special and regular programs have similarity. (5) Learning strategy of moral subjects on special and regular program is different. Special program teachers used expository strategies while regular programs used inquiry strategies and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). (6) there are differences in the infrastructure services provided by schools between special program and regular program. (7) special program teachers conduct cognitive aspect based judgments only. While regular program teachers conduct assessments based on aspects of cognition, affective and psychomotor.
