Abstract

Background Fracture of the proximal femur 1/3 sinistra is a broken left femur bone continuity a third part proximal caused by trauma. The bone will experience damage to surrounding tissues such as muscles, ligaments, tendons, and innervation. The Purpose of: To know the execution of physiotherapy in reducing pain, improving muscle strength, and increase the scope of the motion of joints in the case of fracture of the femur with proximal sinistra 1/3 Infra Red and Therapeutic exercise. Conclusion: Infra Red (IR) and Therapeutic exercise (TL) can reduce the pain, can increase muscle strength, and can increase the scope of the joint motion on the left hip and knee. Results: After therapy for 4 times the silent pain assessment results obtained T1:3, a T4:2, T1:4 press pain into T4:3, motion pain T1:5 into T4:4, increase in muscle strength of hip flexor T1:3, a T4:4, hip extensor T1 into T4:3: 3, 3: hip abduction T1 into T4:4, 3: hip adduction T1 into T4:4 , an increase in the scope of the motion of joints (active hip and knee): S: T1:100-00-450, a 150-00-500, F: T1:300-00-450, a T4: 350-00-500, S: T1: 00-00-500 a T4: 00-00-550, an increase in the scope of joint motion (passive hip and knee): S: T1:150-00-500, a T4: 200-00- 550, F: T1:350-00-450, to T4:350-00-500, S: T1: 00-00-550 a T4: 00-00-650.
