Abstract

Sidomulyo is one village in District Ampel, Boyolali potentially high diversity of flora. One such potential is as natural dyes natural dyes from plants have economic value because of non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. Research on the study of plant diversity that has potential as a natural dye batik in the village Sidomulyo the District Ampel, Boyolali regency. This study aims to determine the types and organs of plants that has potential as a natural dye batik. This research uses descriptive exploration techniques with methods of qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The sampling method using purposive sampling and sampling data obtained by the method of cruising. The results showed that found 16 families including 18 species. The organ is used as a natural dye that leaves, fruit, root, flower, stem, and the stem..
