Abstract

Along with the development of technology that is more modern, especially technology on smartphones, the museum in displaying its collection can adjust the development of technology at this time that is a collection system viewer with qrcode scanner application via smartphone. Qrcode is a collection of code codes that contain information and can be read with qrcode scanner application. The purpose of this study is to facilitate visitors in obtaining information collection of museums, and facilitate the museum in filling descriptions of museum collections. The method used in this research is by System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. Making this system, among others, by creating a web server and then hostingkan, create applications through app inventor 2 online, then create qrcode in which there is a web server URL. The result of this research is web server system. On this system has major features like Home, Museum Collections, Contac person, Detail, and Print / Save. Based on the results of testing this system through black-box, smarthphone, and respondents can be concluded that the web server features are valid, and smarthphone testing concluded that the system can run well, for 30 respondents between the museum and museum visitors, concluded that this system helps in Looking for information on museum collections and simplify the filling of descriptions of museum collections.
