Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing and testing the contribution of school environment, socioeconomic level, and learning motivation to the students' mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted on the students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017. The population in this study as many as 163 students. The sampling technique uses proportionate random sampling by lottery. The number of samples in this study were 116 students. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and methods of documentation. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a contribution of school environment, socioeconomic level and learning motivation toward mathematics learning result of VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta in academic year 2016/2017. The school environment, socioeconomic level and learning motivation can explain the mathematics learning result of 15.6% and the remaining 84.4% is explained by other variables not included in the study. (2) no contribution of school environment to mathematics learning result of Grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta in academic year 2016/2017. The school environment contributes effectively to 5.17% and a relative contribution of 33.14%. (3) there is no socio-economic level contribution to mathematics learning result of VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta in academic year 2016/2017. Provided effective contribution of 1.75% and relative donation of 11.19%. (4) there is a contribution of learning motivation to the learning result of mathematics of VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta in the academic year 2016/2017. Motivation to learn to give effective contribution of 8.69% and relative donation of 55.67%. Keywords : learning outcomes, school environment, socioeconomic level learning motivation.
