Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the law strength of using a video footage asavalidcriminal act evidence in the court. Data technique analysis used in this research was interactive analysis. The result shows thattheinvestigator’s duty in investigation is to search and collect evidence instruments. A video footage of a criminal act which proved theact can be used to strengthen the evidence in the court. However, to find the video footage of criminal evidence, the investigator should follow the official procedure; so, the footage could be guaranteed in the court.
