Abstract

This research aims to describe how to subjective well being of mothers with HIV / AIDS when pregnancy and post partum and the factors that influence it. Collection data techniques in this research by interviews (indepth interview), and documentation. Informants of this research were 4 women with HIV / AIDS, one pregnant mother and three post partum mothers. Results: The subjective well being of mothers with HIV / AIDS when pregnancy and post partum is a blessing sourced in the domain of marriage and health conditions. In the domain of marriage is felt happiness and complete satisfaction, more vibrant in life, comfort and tranquility, get a lot of affection from the family that comes from harmonious family and the emergence of the desire to get back descent despite being detected HIV / AIDS. The domains of health conditions give rise to gratitude, which includes: acceptance as well as good support from the nearest person, feeling life becomes more meaningful, have a future expectation, and self-acceptance. The internal and external factors that affect the subjective well being of HIV / AIDS mothers when pregnant and post partum: internal factors, the existence of spirituality in self informants, marriage, health conditions, and knowledge about HIV / AIDS. While external factors include, support of husbands, family support, support friends with ODHA and non ODHA.
