Abstract

Irrigation Area Catur Atas getting the source water comes from the Catur River. At the beginning, the water was used for irrigation only. But over the time, the water sources has been used to supply PDAM, hospital, Pamdesa and suger factory. The existence of Water Supply Company, Lung Hospital, PAMDESA and Sugar Factory are considered as the cause of drought in downstream areas, especially by users of water for irrigation, leading to conflicts between users. Potential flow this study aims to determine the potential of the water in the Catur River, in this study used the water potential of the upstream discharge data in the form of a mainstay with rainfall data using FJ Mock method then compared to Neo Perdas program. The difference between the two is expected to be insignificant, so the two programs can be used to calculate the daily discharge. Once the potential flow has been obtained, the water allocation in eac weir at Catur Catchment Area can be calculated, as well as K and the optimum water requirement throlghout the year ( seasen I and II ). Optimization of water allocation carried out if the balance of the water indicates that the water potential is not able to be accommodated. K factor value is used to measure the optimal conditions of irrigation water services as the ratio between the supply of irrigation water to the irrigation water needs. The results shows that the potential of the water in the Catur irrigation area with FJ Mock method with an average of = 17.11 m3 / s and Neo Perdas Program average of = 17.66 m3 / sec statistically the second program has a difference of 8,65 %, so both programs can be used to calculate the discharge in the Catur watershed. With the discharge needs that exist in the Catur watershed among others irrigation, Water Supply Company, Lung Hospital, PAMDESA and Sugar Factory in the existing Catur watershed, water is still safe and fulfilled all their needs, but for the next 10 years with the increasing number of population, increase of agricultural land due to land conversion of forest land into agricultural land, increasing the discharge Water Supply Company because of the population increase water demand will be greater, then the possibility of residual water in the Catur watershed listed above will not suffice. Therefore we must be good at addressing the optimal use of land and keeping population or population growth.
