Abstract

Green building is a concept of environmentally friendly building has been developed by many countries and now is implemented in Indonesia. The concept itself stands for reducing energy consumption of building construction. According to the interview result from Architectural Planning Team (TPA UMS)/collecting primary data, secondary data and another supporting data, so it can be assessed medical faculty building by using greenship rating tool for new building v1.2 owned GBCI for final reviewing stage (final assessment – FA) by using 6 categories as follows by appropriate site development receive credit by 8.4 points (8.32%), energy efficiency and conservation receive credit by 4 points (3.96%), water conservation receive credit by 4 points (3.96%), material resources and cycle receive credit by 4.5 points (4.46%), indoor health and comfort receive credit by 7 points (6.93%), and building environment management receive credit by 7.5 points (7.43%). Based on the research result prove that the overall total value obtained from medical faculty building of UMS reach credit by 35.40 points or 35.05%, while the lowest-ranked category standards of greenship rating tool for new building v1.2 owned GBCI is bronze category with credit by 34 points or 35%. Hence, medical faculty building of UMS is categorized green building ranked with lowest-ranked i.e. bronze.
