Abstract

Faqusreini Maqfiroh / A410120229. Meningkatkan komunikasi matematika melalui model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) berbasis CIRC (Cooperatife Integrated Reading And Composition). (PTK Pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tulung tahun ajaran 2015/2016). Skripsi. Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This study aims to improve students' mathematical communication through PBL learning model based CIRC. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects were teachers who provide action and action recipients are students of class VII D SMP Negeri 1 Tulung, Klaten total of 36 students. Data collection method used when research is the method of observation, documentation, field notes, and test methods. data analysis techniques used adalahmetode flow consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The validity of the data using techniques tringulasi. The results of this study showed an increase in students' mathematical communication skills that can be seen from the following indicators: (1) Communicate mathematical thinking through the activity of orally asked before action (13.88%) and end action into (47.22%); (2) Communicating mathematical thinking through answering questions orally, before the action (16.66%) and end action into (52.77%); (3) Using a mathematical language to express an idea or ideas appropriately using tables, graphs, charts and images before (27.77%) and end action into (72.22%); (4) communicate mathematical thinking through mathematical models before (22.22%) and end action into (63.88%). So it concluded that the use of the model-based PBL CIRC can improve students' mathematical communication skills keas VII D SMP Negeri 1 Tulung, Klaten.
