Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of learning to read through the Islamic Children Likes to Read method in RA Anak Sholeh. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The techniques of collecting data in this study are using observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis of the data in this study is using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman, such as perform data reduction (reduction the data), presentation of data (display the data), and drawing conclusion. The results of the research is implementation of teaching learning process through Islamic Children Likes to Read method in RA Anak Sholeh Colomadu carried out with the guidance of a teacher for 60 minutes before the learning begins running quite well. This is because the infrastructure that supports ongoing learning to read, the attitude of the teachers in the application of learning to read which appropriate with the procedure, as well as children who actively participated in the reading before the learning begins
