Abstract

Batik Tulis is one of the results of the technical production process of making batik motif directly written manually. In this case there are still many people who do not fully understand the manufacturing process therefore the authors will take advantage of an Augmented Reality applications that are being developed at this time Augmented Reality is a technology that can be used for media information, knowledge, learning and games. Thus the researchers will develop this application to the media information about how to batik Tulis making it as simple as possible so that the public is easy to use it. This research aims to design an Android-based Augmented Reality applications as a medium of information about the process of making batik Tulis. In manufacturing need some software including Blender, Unity and Vuforia.Based on data from trials that have been conducted, the authors came to the conclusion that this application is easy dioperasiakan as has the percentage reached 91% by the users and easy to learn and understand the material reaches 85%. Thus this application can be another alternative besides media images books or just manufacturing process of batik tulis. Keywords: Augmented Reality, Media Information, Batik Tulis
