Abstract

This research aims to describing (1) Planning teaching learning process of Indonesian by using serial story to the fifth year students in Elementary School 02 Sambirejo; (2) Teaching learning process of Indonesian by using serial story to the fifth year students in Elementari School 02 Sambirejo; (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors student’s studying Indonesian by using serial story to the fifth year students in Elementary School 02 Sambirejo This type of research uses a form of qualitative research dan the use of ethnographic research design. This study site is in Elementary School 02 Sambirejo. The technique of collecting data are participant observation, interviews and documentation. Technique of analysis take place in a cycle, namely grouping and sellecting the data obtained from studies based on quality of the truth and then describe and deduce the results to address existing problems. The results of the research show that are: (1) Planning teaching learning process of Indonesian by using serial story uses lesson plan (RPP) created by Teacher Organization (MGMP) in Karanganyar Regency, before new academic year started. Before lesson plan discussed in MGMP Regency, each school had been prepared a draft lesson plan (RPP) English through internal MGMP activities. (2) Teaching learning process of Indonesian by using serial story is done in three activities. Opening class is done by check attend list, gave oral pretest to students. Core learning is done by delivering learning material appropriate with lesson plan. Closing class done by summarizing the material and give homework to students. (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors students studying Indonesian by using serial story. Supporting factor consist of: student’s interest and trace, profesional teacher. Inhibiting factor consist of: parent who not care about their childen’s education, a facilitate not complete.
