Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of teaching pronunciation to the sixth year students of SD 3 Jepangrejo Blora and the problem faced by the teacher. This study focused on syllabus, Material, strategy and Evaluation The data are some information found in setting and engaged a wide range of activity. The data in setting include participants, student, teacher interaction, the process of teaching and learning, the materials, the text used, the note takes by the students, teacher plans, configuration of the rooms and organization of desk and the furniture. The method of collecting data are interview, observation and documentation. The result showed that the technique used in English pronunciation teaching-learning process are game and role-play. The problems faced by the teacher are lack of the materials, so the teacher must look for the other sources, and the limited time. The second problem makes the teacher should manage the time as good as possible. In addition, the teacher must also anticipate the time allocated. The writer concludes that English pronunciation in SD 3 Jepangrejo Blora has role in improving the pronunciation achievement and the students enjoy the lesson.
