Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the implementation of Gouin Series Method to improve the students vocabulary mastery. The result of this research hopefully gives contribution in learning English. This research was carried out at SD N 02 Pablengan Matesih, especially in the sixth year that consists of 26 students. To collect the required the data, the writer did observation, gave test, and used document. There are three cycles in this action research in which each cycle, pre-test is used to know the score of the vocabulary mastery. Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that Gouin Series Method in teaching vocabulary could improve the student participation and achievement. It indicates that the teaching learning process is successful, both the researcher and the students gain the objective.
