Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the up grade of service letter wrihiy ability on class VIII D of SMP N 2 Andong. Getting information about persep tions of regarding lerning cooperative Type STAD. The target of this study is the ability of student wrihiy mail service with atten tion to spelling, diction, sentence conformity and compliance with sketch of the relationsip ketween the sentence as lerning media. Ooperation in a group to discuss the iswe, and student activiyy in cooperative lerning Type STAD on cycles I, and II to produce the accuracy of spelling 66% cycles ,cycles I 86 %, cycles II 88 %. The improvement kased on word choice on cycles 41 % , cycles I 50%, cycles II 69%. The improvement of sentence prepara tion cycles 41%, cycles I dan II 61%. The improvement sentences based on relationship between cycles 44%, cycles I 52% dan cyclus IIAdi 65%. Kind of research is used an action research class. Technigus is used an observation, note, test, and dokumentetion. The implementation of this ressarch same with the planned program, teacher always give motivation, guidance to student in this a chivity, an reality, the re sult on the outcomes of student in writy letter official increased in every cycles with applying the cooperative type STAD approachment and sketch, media.
