Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of international diversification on financial performance with efficiency as a moderating variable in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2021 period. This type of research is quantitative research. The data used is secondary data sourced from annual financial reports. The population of this study is the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. Using the purposive sampling method during the 2019-2021 research period, the sample for this study consisted of 12 manufacturing companies in the food and beverage subsector with a total of 36 observations. There are two steps of analysis technique used, namely Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with DEAP 2.1 and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis with Eviews 12. In this study it was found that international diversification had a non-significant positive effect on financial performance and efficiency moderated the positive effect of international diversification on financial performance in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed in the IDX period 2019-2021.
