Abstract

This study aims to describe the business development strategy of "Kerupuk Ikan Dua Putri" at Bendar Juwana Pati. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model through data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data using data source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that: 1) The problems or obstacles faced by the Ikan Dua Putri cracker business in Bendar Juwana Pati are to increase sales. Problems in the Production Process which include limited capital, limited technology, weather and climate problems as well as Problems in the Marketing Process which include Marketing which is still limited around the Juwana District and has not been able to reach outside the Juwana District and Difficulties in determining consumer tastes, because each consumer has tastes different in choosing the desired product. Therefore it is necessary to have a strategy that can be used to overcome the problems faced by the Dua Putri Fish Cracker business in Bandar Village, Juwana District, Pati Regency to increase sales of the fish crackers produced. 2) The right business development strategy for the Dua Putri Fish Crackers business in Bendar Juwana Pati is by using a market development strategy, namely by marketing it still around shops and markets around the Juwana sub-district. The product development strategy, namely marketing via social media such as shoppe, google map or go-food, will automatically unconsciously expand the nation's market to a larger market because with these applications you can get bigger profits indirectly. The innovation strategy is to make new variants other than the staple fish which is often used in daily production. The Integration Strategy is often overbooked, but we make an agreement or agreement to patiently wait for our turn. The certification strategy has certain marketing areas that are the focus of sales, namely in markets, in shops that already have well-known names outside the city, and in areas where most of the people are not fishermen.
