Abstract

Before establishing an industry, an industrial location is chosen because the location of the industry is an important consideration. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of industrial distribution in Madiun Regency, and to analyze the industrial location factors according to Weber's triangle. Analyzing the distribution pattern of the industries studied in this study used a quantitative descriptive analysis method, and the industrial spatial distribution was identified by the nearest neighbor analysis method. , for the second purpose using a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, the distribution pattern of industry in Madiun Regency tends to group both small and small industries. The result of the first factor determining the location of the industry is the location of origin of raw materials which shows that the majority are obtained from within the city. The factor of establishing the majority of industries is due to inheritance, the third factor is the initial capital for each industry between Rp1,000,000 - Rp 10,000,000, the fourth number of workers in each industry is the majority of 5-20 people, and the five marketing locations are carried out both inside and outside the city, and factors the last is the status of industrial land, the majority of which is owned by oneself.
