Abstract

The modernization of the cities has resulted in various problems, one of them is the identity crisis phenomenon. The rapid and pragmatic change in urban space has had a negative impact on the face of the city which in turn has resulted in an obscurity image of the growing city. A number of public facilities and urban spaces have been fulfilled however it seems not enough to built a city, because at the moment Tegal Regency does not fully have an authentic image. So that space is just a container for the human body without accommodating feelings. By designing the idea of Ngapak Cultural Park as a response to identity confusion, it is hoped that it will be able to at least make public aware of its image, also create a city that has more identity and can construct an obvious image so that city society are able to develop their own potential and local values. .
