Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health is very important for labor protection, especially for overcome the problem of occupational diseases. Working posture becomes one of the main focuses in consideration of ergonomics in working environment. This study aims to examine the relationship between working time and working posture with Musculoskeletal Disorders in workers at PT. Waleta Asia Jaya. This research uses this type of research quantitative analysis, with cross sectional research design. Research conducted on workers unplug section at PT Waleta Asia Jaya in June 2022, consisting of 70 respondents. Sampling in this study using total samplig. Measurement period of workusing questionnaires measurement posture using RULA, and measurement of Musculoskeletal Disorders using NBM. The results of this study showed no relationship between period of work with Musculoskeletal Disorders on the job PT. Waleta Asia Jaya, where the value of p=0,608>0,05 or Ho is accepted, with the level of correlation coefficient 0,062. And there is a relationship between work posture with Musculoskeletal Disorders on the job at PT. Waleta Asia Jaya, where p=0,072<0,05 or Ho is accepted, with the level of correlation coefficient -0,217. The conclusion on this research there is no relationship between period of work and Musculoskeletal Disorders, and there is no relationship between work posture and Musculoskeletal Disorders.
