Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability (Return on Assets), liquidity (Current Ratio), leverage (Debt Ratio), and cash flow (Cash Ratio) on the occurrence of financial distress (Altman Z-score) in property and real estate companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2021. Sample selection using purposive sampling which resulted in 59 sample companies. This research method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that liquidity affects the financial distress and profitability, leverage, cash flow does not affect the financial distress.
