Abstract

Karangdowo Subdistrict is one of the areas experiencing a change in land use, this is because the research area is a strategic area located in the eastern Klaten Regency and already borders Sukoharjo Regency. This study aims to analyze land use changes and analyze the distribution pattern of land use changes. This study uses a survey method which is characterized by the use of a random sample to collect data. In addition, this study also utilizes GIS assistance and quantitative approach for data analysis. Land use changes was extracted by the interpretation of Sentinel-2A satellite imagery in 2016 and 2022. To find out the distribution pattern using the Nearest Neighbor Analysis and Spatial Autocorrelation. Changes in land use are dominated by the type of land use as a settlement (45.2 Ha). Tumpukan is a village that has experienced a lot of changes in land use as a settlement with an area of 25.12 Ha. The results show that land use changes have a clustered pattern, while in Spatial Autocorrelation the results of land use changes have a random pattern.
