Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been going on for about 2 years. This results in limited activities carried out outside the home, such as education carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono. The face-to-face learning process is limited to being applied in the school. Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono uses IT-based learning media such as Zoom Meetings and E-Learning to deliver learning materials and assignments. The aims of the research were 1) To describe the implementation of IT-based learning media in Islamic religious education subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono for the academic year 2021/2022. 2) To identify obstacles to the implementation of IT-based learning media in Islamic religious education subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a qualitative research, using a phenomenological approach, which is based on a phenomenon that is currently happening. The collection of various data was carried out by means of observation, namely by observing directly the learning activities at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono. Then interview the informants regarding the information they want to obtain, and conduct school documentation, data and various learning activities in the school environment. The data validity test was carried out directly by the researcher by doing a cross check between the results of the study and the learning media used in SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono. The results of the research conducted can be concluded that the implementation of IT-based learning media in Islamic religious education subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono is using Zoom Meeting and E-Learning. For the delivery of material using Zoom Meeting. As for assignments, materials, tests, discussion rooms through E-Learning. For E-Learning, this is a new platform created by IT SMA Negeri 1 Sukodono. In implementing learning using Zoom Meeting, it takes about 45 minutes in each lesson. The implementation of learning using IT media also encountered problems. These obstacles arise from the teachers and students. The obstacles experienced by teachers are the internet which is less stable and the teacher's lack of insight in the use of IT. Meanwhile, the obstacles experienced by students are the lack of internet facilities, being constrained by the explanation of the material, and the students' homes being far from the reach of the internet.
