Abstract

The use of two languages occurs a lot in communication between people who usually use Indonesian mixed with regional languages or Indonesian mixed with foreign languages. This is why the study was made to explain (1) Describe the form of code mixing and code switching on twitter account tweets @Dodit_Mulyanto, (2) Describe the function of code mixing and code switching on twitter account tweets @Dodit_Mulyanto, and (3) Imply code mixing and code switching on teaching materials Indonesian. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the researcher found (1) the form of code mixing, namely Word insertion, there are 26 data, insertion of phrases can be 15 data, word repeating there are 5 data, and buster insertion there are a total of 2 data. While the code transfer form has 2 forms, namely internal and external. The internal form of Bahasa Indonesia to Javanese there are a number of 7 data, in the external form of Bahasa Indonesia to English there are a number of 6 data, and the external form of Javanese to English there is a number of 1 data. (2) the code-mixing function, namely group identity totaling 2 data, solidarity totaling 3 data, emphasizing amounting to 13 data, funny amounting to 5 data, and lexical amounting to 15 data. While the code transfer function is group identity totaling 1 data, solidarity totaling 2 data, emphasizing 7 data, and funny amounts to 4 data and (3) the implications can be applied to the learning of Indonesian to the advertising text contained in phase D (generally for classes VII, VIII, and IX) in the writing element.
