Abstract

Study of Da'wah According to M. Quraish Shihab, da'wah is a part that must exist in the social life of religious communities. In the teachings of Muslims, it is an obligation imposed by religion on its adherents, both those who have embraced it and those who have not. Da'wah is a call or invitation to converts to change the situation to a better and perfect situation, both for individuals and society. This type of research is a type of library research , the method of data collection is descriptive qualitative, namely analyzing the problem to be discussed by collecting library data, the opinion of Quraish Shihab in the interpretation of al-Misbah. Then describe the opinion of the mufassir with the perspective of today's da'wah. The results of this study are the letter Ali-Imran verse 104 in the interpretation of al-Misbah explaining that da'wah is an obligation for every Muslim and there must also be a special group that carries out da'wah movements because humans are social creatures who always need to be reminded. In Surat an-Nahl verse 125 in the interpretation of al-Misbah it is explained that the concept of the da'wah method is threefold, namely: Wisdom, Mua'izhah Hasanah and Jidal. Wisdom is something when used or considered will bring benefits and prevent harm. This method of wisdom can determine the success or failure of a da'wah in the face of various da'wah targets. Mau'izhah Hasanah is preaching by giving good advices of Islamic teachings with love so that Islamic advice and teachings can touch the hearts of the targets of da'wah. Jidal consists of three kinds, the bad thing is delivered rudely. What is good is delivered politely, the best is conveyed well with the right arguments and not silence the opponent.
