Abstract
The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the emergence of various policies to prevent the spread of the virus. One of policies implemented in Indonesia, especially Central Java Province as a One of the efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is Jogo Tonggo. Jogo Tonggo is a program that has a task force unit as the executor of activities the. The Jogo Tonggo task force unit consists of various fields such as economic, health, entertainment, social and security fields. In addition, the unit This task force is tasked with taking care of neighbors, the intention is to ensure that residents working together to fight the spread and transmission of Covid-19 at the local level RW. The existence of the Jogo Tonggo activity is expected to be able to improve food security during a pandemic. Considering the time of a pandemic situation like now many people have lost their jobs so they experience food shortage. Therefore, increasing food security is necessary to done during a pandemic. The result of this research is that the PKM team interviewed the Chairperson of the Jogo Tonggo Task Force RW 05 Jomblang Village, Candisari District, Kota Semarang to discuss related to the Jogo Tonggo Program in the region. The PKM team distributed questionnaires via Google Form to community to find out the effectiveness of the Jogo Tonggo program for resilience food during a pandemic. After being analyzed, the Jogo Tonggo program turned out to be effective in maintaining food security in RW 05 Jomblang Village and can meet the aspects of food security (availability, affordability and food use). The special potential of this research is the research output in the form of scientific articles that will be published in national journals, namely Jurnal Sociohumanities of Padjadjaran University (Sinta 2) with the article title Effectiveness Jogo Tonggo Program for Community Food Security in Pandemic Situations
