Abstract

Dengue fever is one of the tropical infectious diseases which is still a problem in tropical countries, including Indonesia. In 2005, 19,000 cases of dengue fever were reported in Indonesia (Depkes RI, 2006). The morbidity rate of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in 2013 was recorded at 45.85 per 100,000 population (112,511 cases) with a mortality rate of 0.77% (871 deaths) Green grass jelly leaf extract (Cyclea barbata Miers) with a concentration of 0% as a control 0.2% 0.4% 0.6% 0.8% and 1% were put in a plastic cup. The treatment used green grass jelly (Cyclea barbata Miers) leaf extract which was given as much as 100 ml in each plastic cup. The effectiveness of Green Cincau leaves as a larvicidal agent and To obtain the optimum concentration of Green Cincau leaves in killing Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae. Provide scientific references for further research. further for the development of larvicidal materials from green grass jelly leaves Knowledge of the effectiveness of killing Aedes aegypti larvae from green grass jelly has the potential to be applied to the community as an alternative larvicidal material Increase the potential use of green grass jelly leaves as a larvicidal agent that is environmentally friendly and safe in its application
