Abstract

Inadequate sanitation is a factor in the transmission of various diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, polio and stunted growth and causes of death in children under five. The urgency of providing access to proper sanitation, especially for rural communities in Indonesia, is increasingly pressing. The proposer will cooperate with cadres in the local area. Cooperation with cadres in the area is in the form of collaboration in the preparation of counseling materials about the importance of maintaining cleanliness by not defecating openly and the impact of open defecation. Monitoring of this development will be carried out for the next 2 months. At this stage, the proposer monitors the local community by collaborating with one of the local communities whose house is close to the public latrine building in order to monitor the community using the public latrine as well as possible. , Pemalang so that they can be free from open defecation, to be precise in RW 3.
