Abstract

This Study aims to determine the effect of GDP and financial performance on the capital adequacy ratio. This research was conducted on conventional banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2019. Total sample used in this study was 40 banking companies. Samples were taken using purposive sampling method. Multiple linier regression analysis was used as a data analysis method. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that Loan to Deposits Ratio (LDR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Deposits to Assets Ratio (DAR) and Risk Assets Ratio (RAR) had an effect on capital adequacy ratio. Size, BOPO, and GDP had no an effect on capital adequacy ratio.
