Abstract

Responding to the era of increasingly rapid change, educational institutions are certainly expected to be able to prepare students who can compete in the face of all the dynamics of existing changes. Mathematics as a global science that is studied in almost all levels of education of course also underlies the development of technology and the development of human thinking power. The fact that students ability in mathematics is still said to be low is certainly an important thing that educational institutions must pay attention to. The results of PISA as one of the competencies that evaluate students mathematical literacy skills can certainly be used to evaluate students abilities but also evaluate learning activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of developing prototypes of PISA based flat plane geometry questions in 2021, test the feasibility of prototypes of PISA based flat plane geometry questions, and describe a learning simulation plan using Polya and Problem Posing steps based on the results of students answers. The method used in this research and development is the ADDIE model. This research goes through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research and development resulted in a total of 12 questions consisting of 5 mathematical problems of flat plane geometry which were developed into 2-3 questions for each problem. The questions developed were declared suitable for use based on the results of expert validation.
