Abstract

Dairy farmers are still experiencing obstacles in the cattle business, capital productivity and marketing, so it is necessary to find information that is really needed by dairy farmers to overcome the problems they face. The purpose of this study was to analyze the distribution of cow's milk productivity in Sruni Village, analyze the factors that affect the productivity of dairy cows in Sruni Village, and analyze the sustainability of dairy farming in Sruni Village. The research method used is a survey. The sampling method is random sampling method with a sample size of 37 and the method of management is using GIS, the second objective is to use tabulation, and the third objective is only to analyze the sustainability of farmers. The results showed that the average daily yield of dairy cows in Sruni Susu Village was 6.5 liters per day, the average of 7.75 liters per day for pine hamlet and 7.75 liters per day for Graha Santi hamlet. 10 liters on average. The highest productivity is in the hamlet of graha santi and the lowest productivity is in the hamlet of sanga agung. Factors that affect the productivity of dairy cows include: education level of dairy business owners, climate, water availability, and feeding. The level of sustainability is good for dairy farmers in Sruni Village when viewed from two dimensions, namely the ecological dimension and the socio-cultural dimension.
