Abstract

Economic development and competitive quality improvement from competing companies make the value chain very much needed in an MSME. The purpose of this study is to analyze the value chain to increase competitive advantage, seek added value, and provide suggestions for improvement in order to compete with competitors. The method uses descriptive analysis by calculating the added value and production costs. added value obtained is 46657 which the value is obtained from the calculation of the total cost of raw materials, indirect labor costs, factory overhead costs and commercial expenses. the initial price per unit set by MSME Mukenaku is 60,000. then from these results, it is obtained that the proposed improvement is that Mukenaku MSMEs can still lower the selling price as well as become an added value for customers.
