Abstract

As time goes by, covid 19 has started to slope slightly in a better direction and learning has been carried out with limited PTM. This is because learning time and the number of students are still limited so that learning has not been carried out optimally. This condition causes students to be less active, learning interest decreases, student skills decline, one of which is students' mathematical communication skills, so teachers are required to master digital technology, apply media and improve learning strategies in limited PTM. This study aims to determine and improve mathematical communication skills in the material of whole number class II students at MIM Jeron in PTM Limited by applying SAC media. This research method is CAR which is carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there are 2 meetings. There are 4 stages in each cycle of this CAR research including: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 15 second grade students at MIM Jeron. Data collection techniques in this study include: observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive data analysis, namely by qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this study indicate that the application of SAC media is carried out in 2 cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle and results in an increase in students' mathematical communication skills in cycle 1 there are 2 students in good category with a percentage of 13.33% and the final result is obtained in cycle 2 at the second meeting there were 3 students in the good category with a percentage of 20% and 11 students in the very good category with a percentage of 73.33%, at the second meeting there were 4 students in the good category with a percentage of 26.66%, and 1 student in the very good with a percentage of 6.66%. Furthermore, in cycle 2 of meeting 1 there were 8 students in the good category with a percentage of 53.33% and 6 students in the very good category with a percentage of 40% in. Furthermore, in cycle 2 meeting 2 there were 3 students in the good category with a percentage of 20% and 11 students in the very good category with a percentage of 73.33%.
